Supply Planner

ABOUT THE POSITION

In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge in supply chain together with an international team of about 8 people in various roles. You will mostly work operationally, but at times you will also contribute more strategically. Your task will be to jointly ensure a high and stable service level towards the company's customers. Primarily, you will plan requisitions and place orders effectively in close dialogue with colleagues in the department, master planner, suppliers, and warehouse. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the flow chain from a placed order to the ordered goods being shipped from the supplier and arriving as planned at the central warehouse. You will also need to act on deviations in the flow.

The position is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will be employed by us at Academic Work and then work at our client.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

  • Place orders in the system based on purchasing proposals and customer needs, ensuring a good service level by maintaining appropriate inventory levels
  • Take overall responsibility for the flow chain from ordering to delivery being received at your own warehouse
  • Act on deviations such as delays or production shortfalls at the supplier and engage in further dialogue with the relevant parties

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a completed post-secondary education in logistics/production logistics or something we assess as equivalent
  • Has a few years of experience in production planning
  • Has good data and system skills - you will work in Microsoft Dynamics AX, Excel, and more
  • Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing as it is needed in daily work
  • Has a strong interest in the digital field to drive development in the area

It is a merit if you have

  • Previous experience in planning, logistics flows, and/or supplier contact
  • Experience working in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Previous experience from a similar role in FMCG
